About
Tenby is a jewel of the Pembrokeshire coast, its pastel-painted Georgian houses rising above a harbour enclosed by medieval town walls. Three beautiful sandy beaches surround the headland, while boat trips depart to Caldey Island with its working monastery. The town walls, dating from the 13th century, include the Five Arches gatehouse, while narrow streets reveal independent shops and galleries. St Catherine's Island with its Victorian fort can be reached on foot at low tide. The coastal path in both directions offers spectacular clifftop walking.
